time to tea

I`m so focusing on the Christmas stocking I`m stitching right now that I almost missed the publication of one of my other projects. After months of not being able to post a photo, now finally here`s a chance (all photos courtesy of Cross Stitcher 266 via The Making Spot):

  2. Lovely stitching as usual. :) Did you have to frame the stitching as well? (I am talking about the "Time to tea"... Thank you for sharing!

  3. No, thank goodness! :) Luckily, the magazines have a finishing department for the sewing jobs - I wouldn`t have the guts! I don`t know if you remember but a couple of months ago there was a Jenny Barton ABC sampler I `d stitched for Crazy and they turned it into a wall hanger. When I saw it, my first thought was, `How brave someone must be to cut and sew so close to the edge of the stitching... after all, it`s a one-off, I mean it CAN be replaced but it`d take so much time`, you know? I usually get a nice big piece of fabric and they do the rest - same with the plastic canvas: I just got some 5"x5" pieces and they cut around the edges later (again, thank goodness for that, having once cut into my stitching when I wanted to make a badge for Gregory).
Hope you`re well, Katya, I feel guilty for not checking anybody`s blog these days but it`s a teeny bit hectic around here with a double deadline, so I`m stitching every spare minute I`ve got. Thanks for visiting, though :))))
